MSC on the “Career Days” Job Fair in Nis, Serbia
IOM Migration Service Center (MSC) in Belgrade and the project “Capacity Building, Information and Awareness Raising towards Promoting Orderly Migration in the Western Balkans” were promoted by IOM project staff at the counter of the National Employment Service with the aim to provide visitors with more information about the possibilities and procedures for working and studying abroad, as well as in Serbia upon return.
“Career Days“ is held this year for the fifteenth time from April 23rd until April 24th in Nis and is organized by the student’s organization AIESEC. The Fair, which is held in Belgrade, Nis and Novi Sad, is one of the most popular events in the field of employment and career development, which enables young people to get in direct contact with employers. Last year, the fair was visited by more than 10,000 visitors, mainly students – undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates of different educational profiles.
The Nis Job Fair was followed by the leading local media, including TV Nis, TV Kopernikus and a daily Evening News. MSC Coordinator was a guest on the TV Kopernikus show, which is transmitted live via satellite and especially popular among the Serbian communities abroad; as well as a guest on TV Nis, which is broadcast in southern Serbia to more than 500,000 viewers.
